Wist je dat je gemiddeld elke 11 minuten wordt afgeleid? En dat het minsten 23 minuten duurt voordat je wee met focus bezig bent met daar waar je gebleven was? Zou het niet geweldig zijn als er oliën zijn die ons helpen eerder onze aandacht bij de les te krijgen? Hieronder tref je een aantal voorbeelden van oliën die zo maar het antwoord hierop kunnen zijn!
Deze oliën kunnen je helpen weer met Focus en Concentratie de dingen te doen die je wilt doen. Er wordt puntsgewijs aangegeven wat de oliën doen op fysiek en emotioneel niveau en hoe er veilig mee om te gaan.
ROSEMARY
Emotional support:
- Focus
- Clarity
- Brainfog
- Mental alertness
- Mental & physical exhaustion/ fatigue
- Increase courage and strength
Safety: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not get near eyes or mouth area. If irritation occurs discontinue use. With animals be very careful to not place too closely to hyper-sensitive nostril area. Use fresh oil, can oxidize quickly.
Cautions and Contraindications: Avoid use during pregnancy. Avoid use with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Avoid use with infants, frail elderly people, hypersensitive individuals, small animals, new born animals, birds and cats and reptiles. Rosemary essential oil may have an effect on homeopathy.

CYPRESS
Emotional Support:
• Anxiety, anxious behavior, fearful breathing
• Stress and nervous tension, aid in concentration/focus
• Emotion-overload, rebuild emotional strength
• Anger, aggression, frustration, pent-up energy

GINGER
Emotional Support:
• Focus, clarity, brain fog
• Increase attention during learning
• Instill courage during fear issues and fear with travel
• Behavior: timid, shy, standoffish

NB: use fresh oil can oxidize quickly. Ginger essential oil can cause skin irritation or sensitization issues in some individuals.
Possible Drug Interactions: reference information on internal use of the herb, extract and the oil to avoid use with gallstones (due to cholagogue effect/promotes bile flow). And use caution of any internal forms (herb, extract, oil) with any of the following medications: antacids, anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs, anti-diabetic drugs, and high blood pressure medications.
LEMONGRASS
Emotional Support:

- mood swings (uplifting aroma)

- overall fatigue causing mental, physical and spiritual blockages
Safety: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not get near eyes or mouth area. If irritation occurs discontinue use. With animals be very careful to not place too closely to hyper-sensitive nostril area. Essential oils high in Monoterpenes, especially Limonene should not be used with cats.

NB: Lemongrass is a dermal irritant and can also cause skin sensitization issues. Always dilute for topical application. Use caution with diffusion of lemongrass essential oil, use only 1-2 drops in a diffuser with water dispersion (can cause irritation of the mucus membranes and eyes). Please note that lemongrass is not a citrus.
